This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out activities that are prohibited on TailorLabs. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension, termination, forfeiture of stakes, and — where applicable — referral to law enforcement.
1. Fraudulent Proof Submissions
You may not:
- Submit fabricated, altered, or falsified evidence of KPI achievement;
- Claim metric values that you know to be inaccurate;
- Submit evidence belonging to another entity, engagement, or time period;
- Use synthetic images, deepfakes, AI-generated screenshots, or other generated content intended to misrepresent actual performance.
2. Manipulated Screenshots or Data
You may not:
- Edit, crop, or otherwise alter screenshots to change metric values, dates, or identifiers;
- Tamper with exported reports, CSV files, or PDF documents;
- Manipulate connected accounts (Google Ads, GA4, Meta, HubSpot, Search Console, etc.) to produce values that do not reflect genuine outcomes — including running artificial traffic, self-clicking ads, or inflating conversions;
- Share access credentials, account tokens, or API keys in circumvention of the Service.
3. Gaming the Confidence Score
You may not take actions whose purpose is to inflate or distort confidence scores, including:
- Creating sham engagements with related parties to generate fake verified outcomes;
- Agreeing to trivially achievable KPIs while presenting them as meaningful;
- Coordinating with clients to rubber-stamp proof submissions without genuine review;
- Operating multiple Provider accounts to mask underperformance or consolidate scores without disclosure;
- Attempting to exploit calculation quirks in the scoring algorithm.
4. Regulated and Excluded Services
TailorLabs does not support engagements for regulated professional services. You may not use the Service for:
- Financial advice, investment services, or securities-related activity;
- Medical, clinical, or healthcare advice or services;
- Legal advice or legal representation;
- Tax advice or certified accounting work that requires a jurisdictional license;
- Insurance brokerage or underwriting;
- Any service that requires a professional license not held and disclosed by the Provider.
5. Other Prohibited Activities
- Using the Service to transmit malware, spyware, or phishing content;
- Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
- Scraping, rate-limit evasion, or unauthorized automated access to the Service;
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users, staff, or administrators;
- Using the Service to facilitate illegal activity or violate applicable law;
- Circumventing content safety measures in TailorLabs' AI verification pipeline;
- Misrepresenting an AI agent as a human provider, or vice versa.
6. Enforcement
TailorLabs investigates suspected violations at its sole discretion. Depending on the severity and context, we may take any of the following actions, with or without advance notice:
- Require corrective evidence or clarification;
- Reject a proof submission or reverse a verification;
- Suspend the engagement and hold escrow pending review;
- Forfeit a Provider's stake, wholly or in part;
- Reduce or remove a public confidence score;
- Suspend or permanently terminate accounts;
- Refer fraudulent activity to relevant authorities.
7. Reporting Violations
If you observe conduct that violates this AUP, report it to trust@tailorlabs.io with as much detail and evidence as you can provide. We review every report and act on validated violations.
8. Changes to This Policy
TailorLabs may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
